Regine Nehy
Talented, gorgeous, perky, and adorable are just a few words to describe Regine Nehy who can next be seen in a strong supporting role in Sony Picture’s drama/thriller Lakeview Terrace a movie about a young interracial couple who move into their dream home and are increasingly harassed by their next-door neighbor, a tightly wound black LAPD Officer named Abel Turner (Samuel L. Jackson). When the couple decides to fight back the feud turns deadly. In the movie Regine plays “Ceila Turner” Abel’s daughter who is also interested in a white boy at her high school. The film also stars Kerry Washington and Patrick Wilson and was directed by Neil Lebute and will be released September 19 and is rated PG-13. In addition to Lakeview, Regine recently booked a lead role opposite Brian White in Transfer. She plays a dual role of two warring souls in the same body. In the movie she plays “Sarah” an honorable woman from a desperately poor family. Desperate she agrees to a body Transfer, where she loses most of her life, but her sacrifice secures her family's survival. In her awake hours, she meets Apolian (Brian White) and they fall in love. The other woman who shares her body and controls it for most of the day is Anna, a rich, white German wife of Hermann. She only agreed to the Transfer after she almost died - and to make her husband happy. She is uneasy with the theological and moral questions that are raised by "buying another person's body to cheat death." As the days go on, her empathy to her "host" grows. When her body becomes pregnant, she does whatever she must to protect the child… The movie begins filming in Germany in July 2008 and is written and directed by Damir Lucavek.
